WISCONSIN PHARMACAL WINS "FEDERAL CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR" AWARD

New Ownership Group Continues to Build Momentum and Make an Impact

Jackson, WI (October 1, 2003) – Wisconsin Pharmacal Company announced today that it has been recognized as the "Federal Contractor of the Year" by the West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce.

Wisconsin Pharmacal Company recently reached an agreement with the United States Government that designates Wisconsin Pharmacal Company as the exclusive provider of water purification tablets for military use for through 2006 and has provisions for the government to purchase up to 300 million tablets during the term of the contract.

The "Federal Contractor of the Year" designation comes only two weeks after Wisconsin Pharmacal Company was awarded this new United States Government contract and only four months after the new ownership group, headed by John Wundrock and Jeffrey Potts, acquired Wisconsin Pharmacal Company.

Jeffrey Potts, Chief Operating Officer of Wisconsin Pharmacal Company stated, "We are honored to be recognized as the Federal Contractor of the Year. The government requirements and specifications are exceedingly difficult to meet. Our entire organization is proud to assist our servicemen and women and to help ensure their health with safe drinking water. Helping our country is rewarding by itself and we very much appreciate this recognition."

John Wundrock, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wisconsin Pharmacal Company stated, "This award has special significance because we are committed to becoming more involved in the area. Personally, my family and I have lived in the West Bend area for most of our lives and it is especially gratifying to be recognized by our neighbors."
