Packing Tips
For travelers on the go, packing what
you need in a small space is essential. This includes business trips,
vacations, as well as those extended camping trips. So what type of organizers
do you need on your next trip? What items should be included? Here are
a few tips:
- For business and vacation
travelers, you will want a lightweight, yet durable pack that is water
resistant.
- Choose an easy access pack
that will allow you the convenience of hanging it from a towel bar or
a tree branch if needed.
- If youre too busy
to properly prepare your travel items, choose a pre-packed kit, such
as the Travel Pack from Atwater Carey, which is fully stocked and ready
to hit the road.
- Packed items should include:
deodorant, dental floss, safety razor, shave cream, mirror, toothpaste,
towelettes, bar soap, comb/brush, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush holder,
and a mending kit.
- For campers or hikers going
out on extended trips, a Campside Kitchen may be more appropriate.
- Items to be used when camping
include: knives, forks, spoons, salt and pepper shakers, leak-proof
containers, can opener, wire whisk, heat-resistant turners, serving
spoon, scrubber, and a squeeze bottle.
- Place coffee, spices, honey,
cooking oil, or other campside essentials in leak-proof containers.
